Pottering Around the Kitchen

My first every bowl of handmade pesto, fresh from The Gentleman Farmer's garden. (Photo by Your City Promdi)
I recently learned how to hand-make pesto with the help (and the produce of) my gentleman farmer.

Take some olive oil, garlic, and nuts, and grind.

Add large handfuls of basil leaves and stem, wash, throw into a mortar-and-pestle, and pound away.

Voila! My very own pesto, fresh from the garden, and ready for two servings of pasta or for two slices of roast chicken breast!
